Thank you, campers!

From all of us at Cherry Hill Park, thank you for the second consecutive year of an A grade from camper surveys! Thank you also for voting us into Good Sam’s top 100 list of “America’s Favorite Campgrounds.” Overall, it’s been a good year for us, and we hope all of our guests are able to say the same. 2012 will bring big changes for CHP as we hope to begin our renovation project, which (with a little luck) will include luxury cabins, a new bathhouse, a splash playground and a new mini golf course. We’ll update as the time comes. Happy holidays and have a wonderful new year!

Model Trains at Union Station

Come and enjoy the model train display at Union Station from November 22 until January 2. It is free and open to the public. All generations are sure to enjoy it, and the trains will have everyone in the holiday spirit. To learn more about MTH Electric Trains, click here.

Thanksgiving At Cherry Hill Park

Cherry Hill Park is inviting all campground guests for Thanksgiving Dinner at the Conference Center Ballroom. Thursday, November 24 at 3:00 pm.

We hope that you can join us. The campground will provide the turkey and ham with all the usual side dishes. Please bring a dessert to share. For those interested we will be collecting canned food items for a local food pantry.

Happy Veterans Day

It may be too late to plan a trip to DC this weekend, but it isn’t too late to thank our Veterans.

If you do want to come, there are plenty of Veterans Day Activities in Washington. There are plenty of sites, memorials, and monuments that are worth visiting in honor of the nation’s vets –this weekend or any weekend.
